Reorganize your profile page with drag-and-drop: Simply click on any of the applications or showcases (photos, videos, and testimonials) on your profile page and drag them around until they are just as you’d like. The new layout of your profile page will automatically be saved, so your profile visitors will see everything just as you want it.

2. Put as many or as few applications on your profile as you want. Until now, you were able to display up to three applications on your profile, and some of you wanted to show more. Now, when you add an application, you can choose whether or not you want it on your profile. Just select or unselect the “Add to my profile” box above the big “Add Application” button. You can change this any time with the “tool” button in the upper-right corner of the application.

NEW YORK: News Corp’s MySpace plans to launch a global redesign next week in an attempt to widen its demographic reach and boost user engagement on the site, the social networking site said.

In what it said would be the largest scale re-launch of a website of its size, MySpace said it was changing its home page, navigation, profile editing, search, and MySpaceTV player facilities and that many more changes would be coming over the summer.

“This is more than a facelift; we’re changing the way people interact with the site and with brands,” MySpace said, adding that a major advertiser had signed on to take over the US MySpace homepage on the first day of the re-launch.

One of the most popular thing for orkut fans at present is new Orkut Themes . Well, even i was krazy of having Katrina Kaif’s theme for my profile. But after trying it all hard, I realized that it was just a wasted of time.

Ok, tell me if you have seen any custom theme in anyone’s profile. The answer would be no. The fact is that custom themes of orkut that are available on various sites doesn’t change your theme universally. Changes take effect only in your computer and will be visible with Firefox only. Let me explain you how :

These theme require Greasemonkey Addon in firefox to take effect. After installing this add on, you’ll be able to put javascript of various themes in it for your profile. Now, when you see your profile or whoever’s profile…you’ll see it in your new theme. If anyone else see’s your profile from some another computer he won’t be able to see your new theme as greasemonkey settings has been done on your pc and not others.

So, now onwards don’t waste your time in new orkut themes. Just use what orkut has provided you.
